- We never store your Telebirr or bank account details — payments are handled externally.

- Supabase — for authentication, database, and secure file storage.
- Telebirr / Awash Bank — for payment processing (we only see your receipt, not your account).
These services have their own privacy policies and are bound by strict data protection standards.
5. Your Rights
You have full control over your personal data:
- Access: View all data associated with your account in your dashboard.
- Correction: Update your email or profile information anytime.
- Deletion: Request complete account deletion from your profile settings. All data is permanently removed within 30 days.
- Portability: Download your purchased courses at any time from your library.
6. Cookies & Tracking
We use minimal cookies only for essential functions: keeping you logged in and remembering your preferences. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising or sell your browsing data to third parties.
7. Children's Privacy
Jaba Shop is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Jaba Shop, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers.
2. Description of Service
Jaba Shop is a digital learning marketplace that sells PDF courses, ebooks, and educational materials. We provide a platform for creators to sell content and for students to purchase and download digital products.
3. Account Registration
To purchase courses, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- Maintain the security of your password and account.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Purchases & Payments
All prices are listed in Ethiopian Birr (ETB). Payment is accepted via:
- Telebirr mobile money
- Awash Bank transfer
After payment, you must upload a receipt screenshot through your dashboard. Our team will verify and approve your purchase within 24 hours. Once approved, the digital product is permanently added to your library.
5. Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are final. Refunds are only granted in the following cases:
- The product file is corrupted or cannot be downloaded.
- The product description was materially misleading.
- Duplicate charges occurred due to a technical error.
To request a refund, contact us within 7 days of purchase with your receipt and reason.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on Jaba Shop, including courses, PDFs, images, logos, and text, is the intellectual property of Jaba Shop or its creators. When you purchase a course, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to use it. You may NOT:
- Resell, redistribute, or share purchased content with others.
- Upload our content to public websites, file-sharing platforms, or social media.
- Remove watermarks, copyright notices, or author credits.
- Use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.
Violations will result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to use Jaba Shop for any unlawful or prohibited purpose, including:
- Attempting to hack, disrupt, or damage our platform.
- Uploading viruses, malware, or harmful code.
- Impersonating other users or staff members.
- Posting abusive, hateful, or discriminatory content in any community spaces.
- Using automated scripts or bots to scrape our content.
8. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or behavior that harms other users or the platform. You may also delete your account at any time from your profile settings.
9. Limitation of Liability
Jaba Shop provides educational content "as is." We do not guarantee specific results from using our courses (such as income, job placement, or skill mastery). We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of Jaba Shop after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ethiopia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Addis Ababa.
